David Rios
David Rios is the founder and principal strategist behind Buck95: FinanceDataAI. Dr. Rios helps provide analytical solutions and explanations to a variety of complex problems in both industry and academia.
Dr. Rios earned a PhD in Statistics from Columbia University and has taught graduate courses there. He currently teaches courses at NYU Tandon’s financial engineering program.
For over two decades Dr. Rios has been involved in all aspects of the US mortgage backed securities market. He has traded and structured products for institutions such as Credit Suisse, HSBC, and Nomura Securities. He has worked with some of the largest and most sophisticated fixed income investors in the world.
Dr. Rios has consulted large financial institutions interested in redeveloping and enhancing their risk management platforms by applying new ML and AI techniques to their existing business by applying statistical analysis to their investment and risk management processes.

Our team has taught courses in stochastic methods, machine learning, and applied statistics, while also managing daily P&L, hedging strategies, and the issuance of billions of dollars in securities. This unique blend of academic expertise and hands-on market experience allows us to provide clients with insights that are both technically rigorous and practically effective.
